The SailGauge SG1000.

The SG1000 measures forces at your mainsail and headsail and turns those measurements into real-time information to help you understand sail trim.

Pricing and availability

Systems starting at $2,695.

Final price depends on configuration: the mounting hardware, harness, display, and finish that suit your boat. You choose these options when you reserve.

Initial production systems are available through Early Access. Reserve with a $500 refundable reservation credit toward your purchase. Initial deliveries are planned for spring 2027. A reservation does not mean immediate delivery; your delivery date is confirmed based on your configuration and installation requirements.

Compatibility and installation

Will it fit my boat?

  • Mounts available now for Harken 27 mm CB travelers and genoa cars.
  • Sensors mount in place of the sheet-block padeye — no standing-rig modifications.
  • Connects to your boat's existing wind instruments. NMEA certification pending.
  • Designed for owner installation, with instructions and Help Desk support.

Compatibility is determined by the actual hardware and loads on your boat — not boat length alone. Tell us about your boat.
